Train Timetable for Tallinn - St. Petersburg Buy Train Tickets Online

Loads of room between seats, places to hang your coats and small bags by window. Not much luggage space up above seats, some space under seats though.

Quite basic carriages, quite old, but the seats were comfortable. The steward was kind. The border crossing was rather frightening as we did not know that our passports would be taken away from us. Of course, we did not speak Russian and the officials spoke no English, but it would have been nice to know that this was going to happen. The officials took the passports off the train. They returned them after 30 minutes or so. Suggest you have a notice printed in some non-Russian languages so that people know what will happen! The train departed and arrived on time. We took some food with us - don't know if it was available to purchase on the train - that would have been nice. Arriving late at Moscow station in St Petersburg was also rather difficult - not clear where to go. We were supposed to be met by a taxi but it was not obvious where to meet, so we did not find it.

What could be better: 1. The toilets were not clean and smelly. 2. The ventilation system worked poorly and noisy. What was ok: 1,The conductor did his job very well and with a lot of commitment. Compliment to Alexander Kushkin 2. The train ran on time.

Train 34B from Tallinn to St Petersburg was ok, departure on time, seats ok. Arrivel also on time!
